1. New Issue of Remix Newsletter Now Available Online
In February 2008, SULAIR's Library Development Office issued the first issue of ReMix: News from the Stanford Libraries. Remix is a monthly newsletter created to inform donors and friends succinctly about distinctive aspects of SULAIR, including its collections and services, media coverage about SULAIR, and campus events of possible interest. A third-party service distributes each issue via email circa mid-month, and a link on Remix's Web site appears shortly afterwards.
A link to the most recent monthly issue (February) is now posted, along with links to all previous issues of Remix. The Library Development Office welcomes your suggestions for future Remix articles.

2. Matt Jockers Elected to ACH Executive Council
SULAIR Academic Technology Specialist and Consulting Assistant Professor of English, Matt Jockers has recently been re-elected for a three-year term on the Executive Council of the Association for Computers and the Humanities, the principal professional organization for digital humanists in the United States.
Matt has been a tireless advocate, practitioner and teacher of computing methods for humanities research at Stanford, and his presence in the governing body of the ACH will promote Stanford's national significance in this important arena of scholarship. In the name of all of us engaged in humanities computing at Stanford, congratulations and best wishes to Matt.

3. *** Reference Question of the Week ***
Question: Do Stanford alumni still have access to licensed databases, like EBSCO or ProQuest?
Answer: Stanford’s licenses for electronic resources require us to limit access to current Stanford University faculty, staff, students and other authorized Stanford-affiliated users.
However, members of the Stanford Alumni Association now have access to selected Online Publication Databases through their SAA membership.
For questions about SAA Membership and using the online library databases:
Phone: (650) 725-0692
Email: membership@stanfordalumni.org
8am – 5pm PST, Monday – Friday
You can find more reference questions and answers at the Information Center Web site.
To contribute to the Reference Question of the Week feature of SULAIR News, submit your question
and answer through the SULAIR News online submission form.
